The order matters. Most bad advanced readings are not missing a clever rule. They skipped an ordinary phase, then let the later story cover the gap.

The case is not complete when the answer is delivered. It is complete when the outcome is verified, missed, delayed beyond the named window, or honestly marked unresolved.

1 Screen

Is the question sincere, specific, live, and answerable?

2 Cast and build

Record date, primary hexagram, changed hexagram, moving lines, palace, and line assignments.

3 Class the domain

Name the domain, stakes, and method fit before selecting the answer-bearing line.

4 Select target

Use domain and question shape to choose the answer-bearing line.

5 Analyze strength

Class target, obstacle, support, and key lines against month, day, void, break, and movement.

6 Trace dynamics

Read movement, transformation, combinations, clashes, frames, hidden lines, and relevance.

7 Judge

Compare target and obstacle, name the outcome rule, and tag confidence.

8 Time

Name the target state and the calendar event that resolves it.

9 Translate

Turn the technical result into a useful statement with action, limits, and high-stakes wording when needed.

10 Record

Save the chart, delivered wording, prediction, confidence, timing, and eventual outcome.
