Three-branch frames can do more than describe strength. They can also create timing.

If a frame is waiting for one branch, the missing branch becomes the date. If a frame is broken, the restored branch becomes the date. If a frame is already solid, timing may accelerate because the structure is already complete.

Frame timing is powerful only when the frame touches the reading’s mechanism. A frame around the target, support, obstacle, or decisive movement can time the case. A frame sitting in the background may only color the chart.

Solid frame Already complete

The frame is active now. Timing may be immediate or accelerated through the target's own state.

Waiting frame One branch missing

The missing branch is the completion date to watch.

Broken frame One branch disabled

The frame heals when the broken, void, or month-broken member is restored.

Partial frame Support, not completion

The frame can add momentum, but it should not outrank the target's primary timing state.

Step 1 Name the frame

Identify the element family and the three branch positions that form it.

If two members are present and one is absent, the absent member becomes the timing key.

Use day scale for near matters and month scale for structural or long-range matters.

Keep the statuses distinct:

  • Waiting: a frame member is absent from the active frame. The missing branch is the timing key.
  • Broken: the member is present but disabled by void, Month Breaker, or another disabling condition. The healing event is the timing key.
  • Solid: the frame is already active. It strengthens or accelerates the reading, but it does not need a future completion date.
  • Partial: the frame can support the chart, but it does not create a primary timing date by itself.

Example

Suppose a Water frame has Monkey and Rat present, but Dragon is missing.

Missing Dragon

Dragon completes the frame, so Dragon day or Dragon month becomes the timing candidate.

Effect Completion

When Dragon arrives, the frame can act as a complete support or pressure structure.

The frame matters most when it touches the target, support, obstacle, or decisive mechanism.

Traps

Trap Timing every partial frame

A frame must be relevant to the reading. Decorative frames do not create useful dates.

Trap Calling waiting weak

A waiting frame is not merely weak. It is timing-locked.

Trap Ignoring broken members

A complete-looking frame can still be disabled if one member is void or broken.

Use frame timing after the target’s core state is understood. A waiting frame cannot outrank a target that is void, broken, or bound unless the frame itself is the mechanism that restores it.
