Frame Timing

Your task is to add San He context to a positioned relevant line without treating the frame as an independent subject.

The selected line must participate in the frame by position or branch. If the relevant subject is a hidden line, keep the Fu Shen record separate rather than using a visible frame member as a substitute.

This is a UAYA context record. “Restore” describes a structural frame condition; it is not a domain-specific claim about an external outcome.

Invented waiting-frame calculation

Invented illustration; no outcome. Suppose a positioned subject participates in a Water frame with Shen and Zi present and Chen missing.

If the subject is not part of that frame, the missing Chen does not become its timing candidate.

Two more invented records preserve context without manufacturing timing:

They describe mechanics only and contain no outcome.

Broken and active frames are different

A broken frame record must name the exact member and whether it is void or Month-Broken. Do not replace that branch with the frame’s element name.

A complete frame remains supplementary context. It does not erase a more basic void, bound, clash, or transformation condition, and completeness alone does not authorize a near-term date.

Five stop controls

1. A frame is supplied without a positioned selected line → insufficient.
2. The selected line does not participate in the frame → no frame context for that subject.
3. The relevant subject is hidden → return to its Fu Shen record.
4. The missing or impaired branch is not documented → no candidate; do not infer it from the frame name.
5. No sourced timing rule is supplied → structural context only or no window.

Trap: decorative frames

The presence of two or three related branches is not enough. Use the completed San He analysis record, its status, its timing relevance, and the subject’s participation. A visually appealing frame that fails those checks stays outside the timing record.

The frame structure and status vocabulary are reviewed in the earlier San He lesson. The context worksheet and its default no window boundary are UAYA teaching conventions. This page makes no claim that one universal classical timing rule follows from frame status alone.
