Document questions usually center on Parent, but the document alone is not always the whole reading. A contract must hold, a license must be issued, a certificate must be granted, a deed must transfer, or a paper must be accepted.

This domain is richer than “Parent is strong, so yes.” The document can exist but fail to be recognized, fail to reach the querent, fail to bind the other side, or fail to deliver the money or status attached to it.

Parent The document

Contracts, certificates, licenses, deeds, letters, records, filings, written decisions, and proof.

World The recipient

Shows whether the querent can receive, hold, use, or benefit from the document.

Officer Authority and enforcement

The office, court, regulator, employer, examiner, or validating power behind the document.

Parent must be usable, and Officer may show enforcement or official recognition.

Failure patterns

Document readings fail in more ways than “Parent is weak.” The source chapter is precise about this:

An exam sequence, approval chain, appeal path, or staged contract may require separate readings for separate gates.

The diagnostic habit is to trace the chain: authority validates document, document reaches recipient, recipient can use it. If any link breaks, the page may exist without producing the promised result.
