Day Branch: Support, Control, and Day Clash

This course adds two kinds of day information to each line:
- an element relation, reported as supported, controlled, drained, or neutral;
- a branch relation, including day clash, harm, or punishment.
These are construction flags. Later strength lessons decide their weight.

This five-row mapping is a UAYA course convention, not a claim that every lineage organizes day influence with the same labels.
Day clash and Dark Moving
This construction lesson records a day clash but does not classify Dark Moving. That later classification requires the line’s motion and seasonal condition under the cited Strength rule.

No primary line carries You, the branch clashed by Mao, so this documented chart does not manufacture a Dark Moving example.
Neutral mechanics exercise
Create an invented six-row worksheet with a static You line, a Mao day, and a Chou month.
- Mao clashes You.
- The line is static.
- Record
day clash on a static line. - Leave the Dark Moving / Day Breaker classification pending until the seasonal condition is evaluated in the Strength lesson.
Now change the month to Mao. Record the additional Mao–You month clash as a separate Month Breaker candidate. The exercise has no question and no outcome; it tests construction fields only.
Failure controls
- Do not call every day clash Dark Moving; the seasonal condition is required by the cited Strength rule.
- Do not classify a static day-clashed line before that seasonal check.
- Do not call a day-clashed line Month-Broken; the course reserves that field for month clash.
- Do not use the element label to erase a branch flag. The two columns can coexist.
