Weather readings are different from personal readings. There is no patient, spouse, defendant, buyer, or candidate. The chart is read for a condition in the world.
The first step is to name the weather event: rain, clearing, storm, wind, heat, cold, drought, or timing of change.
Weather is one of the best places to see empirical discipline. Traditional marker rules help, but the chart still has to verify through season, movement, blockage, and timing. A rule that does not fit the observed weather pattern should not be forced.
Look for water force, clouds, release, and whether the chart can produce moisture.
Look for forces that dry, clear, separate, or overcome wetness.
Moving lines, clashes, and strong dynamic patterns can describe sudden weather change.
Weak, void, broken, or bound water indicators can show lack of rain.
Weather questions
Look for water or rain-producing structure that can act in the chosen window.
Time the release, clash, or support of clearing indicators.
Dynamic lines and timing rules decide whether the storm arrives or passes.
A whole season may need month-scale reading or divided questions.
Reading shape

Read the relevant elements, movement, voids, binds, clashes, and seasonal support.
Tomorrow, this week, this month, and this season use different timing scales.
Weather cases often unfold in phases: clouding, release, clearing, storm arrival, or missed rain. Name the phase you are timing instead of compressing the whole sky into a single yes or no.
Research analysis, not forecast output
Weather is useful pedagogically because the cases expose timing, transformation, empirical refutation, and partial manifestation. It is not a license to produce user-facing forecasts.
Recognize weather markers, phases, timing grain, conflict resolution, and why shortcuts fail.
Do not turn chart mechanics into practical rain, storm, clearing, drought, hour, day, or month advice.
The source cases include accurate rain and clearing calls, but they also include explicit refutations of simple marker shortcuts. That is the lesson: a marker table is not a forecast rule. Weather decisions need actual meteorological sources.
Timing grains
Weather cases can resolve at different scales:
Hidden movement, branch-hour correspondence, or a moving marker can show a narrow hour window.
Standard timing rules can point to a day when rain, clearing, or storm movement lands.
Month-scale support can set the larger window, with day or hour signals nested inside it.
Movement may produce thunder, cloud, distant rain, or a few drops without becoming a full local event.
This is why weather is a strong training domain and a poor production domain. The analysis can be rich, but the responsible output is still not a forecast.
Traps
Weather is not a spouse, patient, official, or document. Use weather logic.
Weather readings are especially sensitive to seasonal plausibility.
A broad seasonal climate question may need divided readings or a larger time frame.
