Strong-and-Quiet Timing
Last updated 5/21/2026
A strong quiet line is ready, but it is not acting yet. Strength is stored force. Timing asks when the calendar strikes it into motion.
This rule only belongs to lines that are genuinely strong and usable. If the line is weak, void, broken, or bound, the clash may damage or release something else; do not use strong-and-quiet timing by habit.
The target has seasonal or structural force, but no movement, no release, and no immediate landing.
The day that clashes the target branch strikes it awake. This is the primary trigger.
Trigger ranking
The branch that clashes the target is the strongest activation date.
The same branch as the target can activate it, but this is usually weaker than clash activation.
A same-element day can help, but it should not outrank the branch-specific trigger.
Example
Suppose the target is Monkey, strong and quiet in the chart.
Tiger clashes Monkey, so it strikes the line into action.
The same branch can value the line, but it is not the main trigger.
Because the line is already strong, a day-scale trigger is often enough.
Confidence drops if the line is also bound, void, or transformed into delay.

The same clash has different meanings depending on strength. A strong quiet line is struck awake. A weak static line can be damaged by the same kind of strike. That is why Act 5 strength comes before Act 8 timing.
Traps
A strong line still needs a calendar event. Strength alone is not a date.
Value day can matter, but clash day is the cleaner activation rule.
A clash can activate a strong line, but it can damage a weak one. Strength tier comes first.
