One moving line is easy to follow.

Several moving lines can make the chart look chaotic. The answer is not to pick the loudest line. The answer is to filter movement by relevance to the target system.

Three or more moving lines is also a reading signal by itself: the situation is unstable, repetitive, crowded, or changing from several sides. Name that atmosphere, then filter the actual mechanics.

Marked moving lines and eligible Dark Moving lines both enter this pass. If the Dark Moving classification depends on the strict rule or the working rule from Act 5, name which rule you are using.

Filter Keep what touches the target system

Target, support, obstacle, blocker, World, Response, and timing path matter first.

Irrelevant movement may be background, setting, or noise.

A moving line can matter because it breaks a lock, completes a frame, or triggers a date.

Secret movement Dark Moving counts

Eligible Dark Moving lines enter the filter as active lines, with the Act 5 rule choice named when it matters.

Often background Unconnected movement

If it touches none of the above, do not let it hijack the reading.

Workflow

  1. Identify the target.
  2. Mark support, obstacle, and blocker families.
  3. List marked moving lines and eligible Dark Moving lines.
  4. Keep the moving lines that touch the target system.
  5. Classify each kept transformation.
  6. Only then decide whether background movement adds context.

Background movement is not thrown away. It can explain side actors, money leakage, mood, delay, or social noise. It just does not get to decide the outcome unless it touches the target system.

The spirit set for outcome math is target, support, obstacle, World, and any active blocker that cuts support or feeds obstruction. A dormant blocker stays background. A moving or Dark-Moving blocker can become relevant.

Common traps

Trap 1 Reading every moving line equally.

Equal attention creates noise and usually destroys the target logic.

Trap 2 Ignoring a quiet target.

A static target can still be the center if moving lines support or attack it.

Trap 3 Replacing selection with movement.

Moving lines do not choose the target. The question already did.
