Judgment Commentary

Enduring means lasting. The firm is above and the yielding below. Thunder and wind join together. Yielding yet moving, with firm and yielding both responding: this is Enduring. Enduring brings success, no blame, and is favorable to persevere because it lasts in its Way. The Way of Heaven and Earth lasts long and does not cease. Favorable to have somewhere to go because when an ending is reached, a beginning appears. The sun and moon obtain Heaven and can shine for long ages. The four seasons change and transform and can accomplish their work over time. The sage endures in his Way, and all under Heaven is transformed and completed. Observe what endures, and the inner nature of Heaven, Earth, and the ten thousand things can be seen.
