Judgment Commentary
Perseverance in nourishment brings Good fortune, because nourishing what is right brings good fortune. Observe nourishment by observing what is nourished. Seek what fills the mouth for yourself by observing how you nourish yourself. Heaven and Earth nourish the ten thousand things. The sage nourishes the worthy and thereby nourishes the ten thousand people. The time of Nourishment is truly great.

Turning against the proper course. Remaining in perseverance brings good fortune. One cannot cross the great river.

The good fortune of remaining in perseverance comes through compliance in following what is above.

Six in the Fourth
Inverted nourishment. Good fortune. A tiger's gaze, fixed and intent. Its desire presses on and on. No blame.

The good fortune of inverted nourishment means that what is given from above is luminous.

Six in the Third
Turning against nourishment. Even perseverance brings misfortune. Do not use this for ten years. Nothing is favorable.
Commentary
Do not use this for ten years: the Way greatly turns against itself.

Six in the Second
Inverted nourishment. Turning against the proper course to seek nourishment on the hill. Going on brings misfortune.
Commentary
The misfortune of Six in the Second going on means its movement loses its kind.

Abandon your spiritual tortoise and stare at my hanging jaws. Misfortune.

Watching my hanging jaws is also not worthy of esteem.
