Gathering means assembling. It is compliant and joyful, with firmness in the center and response to it; therefore there is gathering. The king comes to the temple: this fulfills filial offering. Favorable to see a person of stature, and success, means gathering through correctness. Using great sacrificial animals brings Good fortune. Favorable to have somewhere to go means following Heaven's mandate. By observing what gathers, one can see the true tendencies of Heaven and Earth and the ten thousand things.
