Freedom from falsehood. Prime success. Favorable to persevere. If it is not correct, there is calamity. It is not favorable to have somewhere to go.
彖傳 · Tuan Zhuan
Judgment Commentary
Freedom from falsehood means the firm comes from outside and takes the leading place within. Movement is joined to strength, and firmness is centered and answered. Great success through correctness: this is Heaven's mandate. If it is not correct, there is calamity, and it is not favorable to have somewhere to go. Where can a movement in freedom from falsehood go? If Heaven's mandate does not protect it, how could it proceed?
