The six rotational tags that color each line of a Wen Wang Gua cast.
The Six Spirits (Liu Shen) are a fixed cycle of six symbolic creatures assigned to the six lines of a Wen Wang Gua chart. The starting spirit on line 1 is determined by the day stem of the cast, and the remaining five rotate upward in fixed order. The labels survive in modern practice as contextual flavor — they color the kind of event a line describes but do not decide the verdict; that comes from element interaction, target line, and timing.
