Upon fulfillment of the conditions implied in Initiative, there will be free course and success. Advantage depends upon firm correctness, as in marrying a young lady. Good fortune.
象辞
The image of a marsh over a mountain forms Initiative. The superior man frees his mind of preoccupation so that he is open to the influence of others.
爻辞

The influence shows itself in the big toe.
位置 2: Moving Calves yang
The influence shows itself in the calves of the legs. Misfortune. Tarrying brings good fortune.
位置 3: Moving Thighs yang
The influence shows itself in the thighs. Holds to that which follows it. To continue is humiliating.
位置 4: Firm Correctness yang
Perseverance brings good fortune. Remorse disappears. If a man is agitated in mind, and his thoughts go hither and thither, only those friends on whom he fixes his conscious thoughts will follow.
